On July 25th 2022 a cooperation agreement was signed between Rīgas Brīvosta (Port of Riga) and the Port of Gdynia, which provides for the transhipment of 5 million tons of energy resources by the end of this year. This is a significant support for Poland!
During the visit in Riga of the Minister of Infrastructure of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Adamczyk it was agreed, that this was the first step towards creating a new transport corridor and joint work on various groups of freight transport, including the use of Rail Baltica.
